Regarding work experience in Canada

Dear Friends,

I have a question with regards to fulfilling the one year work experience criteria to submit PR application under CEC.

I have come to Canada on August 2016 on a closed work permit, in the ICT category. As per my company rules, my salary was in USD. I have continued to work till October 2017, in the US payroll.
From October 2017, I have been receiving my pay in CAD.

Can you please let me know if August 2016-Oct 2017, would count under CEC?

As long as the work was performed in Canada, and you have a manager/supervisor in Canada that will write a letter of reference for you (and explain the above salary arrangements) it should count.
