Regarding WES.

Hi guys.....

pardon me if this is a silly question... but its been bothering me for last 2 weeks.... couldn't get the proper answer in WES website so i am posting it in this forum....

I have submitted my educational documents to WES for the assessment. They received the documents on 27th of June from my university. According to their procedure they were supposed to send me an email regarding receiving the documents from my University and at the same time they are supposed to email to university as well for the verification. But until now i or my uni none of us haven't received any email regarding this. In my online WES account the status is saying "Documents received, review in progress". My friend has submitted the documents at the same time as i did and he received the email with in 2 working days. Mine has been over 10 working days.

In their website it says that their process takes around 22 working days. But i think that is including the certificate and sending it to the applicant. According to my friends who have done the PR process before (4 of them) the verification email took 2 to max 3 days. Should i be worries?

no, you don't need to be worried. You can call them if you want.

No worries at all, I never received any emails from them and it went fine
Also, it takes about 20 business days (excluding public holidays and weekends ), so 20 business days means about a month time

Yes I have

I created the order on their website on April 22nd
Sent my documents through a courier on April 24th
They didn't send me any emails since then until it was finished, they just changed the status into "documents received - review in progress"
The process was finished on May 16th, they sent an email, and I could use my soft pdf copy right away, and wait for the hard copy.

Unfortunately I chose the standard mail delivery option, and until this day (almost 2 months) I never received it, so I'd suggest using a courier in both sending and receiving.
However, someone here told me the hard copy isn't needed, soft copy and reference number are enough. I'm not 100% sure about this but it seems right.
