Alright, maybe my last post was too long that no one wanna reading an article . So lets make it briefly, I applied both PR and extension of visitor visa but either was in process because of strike. And my current visa gonna expire soon so must I go back or can I stay here quietly without any activity?

If you have applied for an extension of your visitor visa before the current one expires, you will have implied status when it expires and can continue to stay in Canada until CIC makes a decision on the visitor visa application.

See this: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/extend-stay.asp

Implied status

If your visitor visa expires after you have submitted your application for an extension of your authorization to remain in Canada, you will be considered in status as a temporary resident (visitor) until a decision is made on the application. This is known as implied status.

If you have applied for a renewal of anything. (visitor visa, work permit, student permit) before it expires. (Nothing to do with Pr application.)
You are under implied status. Meaning you can stay in Canada until a decision on that renewal is attained.
If a visitor, (keep being a visitor) I a worker, Can keep working for the same employer, otherwise have to wait for the new permit if will start a new job, for the meantime not work at all.

Hope that helps

Wow, thank you so much , you both are really a big help to me.. But I applied under the QSW programme, could I go to another province to wait for the decision made? Or is there any rule that I must stay at Quebec after obtain my CSQ?

Applying under the Quebec skilled worker program means you intend to reside in Quebec. If you move to another province, it is possible the gov't of Quebec will contact you for proof that you still intend to reside in their province. If you can't satisfy them, then your application could be in jeopardy.
Search this section - there are others who have found themselves in a pickle for the same decision.

Even not for a vacation of a few month? Actually I do intend to reside in Quebec , but just because of personal reason so I have to spend a few month in other province while waiting for the ppr.at the day I got my CSQ I seemed having heard the examiner told me that I should stay in Quebec for minimum 2 yrs but I'm not sure of that. So if you have any idea and are willing to share with me that i really appreciate it. Thank you and have a good night.
