Regarding unemployment gaps in your personal history ..

Hi guys, I had some questions regarding unemployment gaps in my personal history which I thought I'd talk about:

1) For the periods where I'm technically unemployed, what do I mention in the field "Please provide the name of the company, employer, school, or facility as appropriate." ? It's a required field so I need to put something there, although I don't know what.

2) Does having unemployment gaps increase your chance of rejection ? I have several such gaps in my personal history, although all of them were voluntarily because of personal reasons/circumstances. Most were only 1-3 months long, except one which lasted 12 months (August 2014 - August 2015). During this year I was doing a number of personal activities, however the description space provided for each entry doesn't allow text beyond a few words :/

Mention Unemployed or N/A. CIC isn't recruiting you so gaps in personal history will have no bearing on your application.

did you write a LOE for all those gaps?

and the area of please describe what you were doing. how complete is for the unemployed and employed part? like in my case Architectural services, Architect is enough? or I have to write down specifically what projects I was working on ?

You can just write the Role / Title and there's no need to write any LOE's for that. More or less, this Personal history is used for Security Checks and not to pass a judgement on your worth.
