Regarding TRV application from Canada

Hi

I am currently working in Canada on work permit and my wife is on open work permit. Me and wife would like to apply for a TRV. I called the CIC call center today but the information i got was confusing. So I would like to confirm with someone who have applied for the TRV.

Can we send application together in one envelop? Do wee need to send two individual application form for mr and wife or can we both apply in single application form?

Do we need to send return envelop to get back the passport.

Can someone give some clarification please.

i am not sure if you can send both the application together or not.............but I can say for sure you dont need to sent an return envelop...... as I personnelly and my friend both included return express post envelops with the application ....but still they did sent us back our passports by their own shipping methods.....

YES you have to send prepaid returned-envelop so that u can track the passports

You need separate forms for yourself and your spouse, but you can send all the forms together. Also include a prepaid return envelope.

Fill 2 separate forms for urself and ur wife. Include a return envelope. I applied recently and received stamped passport within a month.

Hello Yahoo7 and Chandn,

I applied TRV online through CIC website and I got a receipt and document. But the confirmation letter says donot send any documents or passports untill you are contacted by CIC. Is that true? I dint wait for anything from CIC in the past. Should I send the passports with the confirmation letter or wiat for anything from CIC?

Please let me know.

If your application is approved, you will be asked by CIC to send the passports for stamping. DO not send the passports till then.
