Dear sir, i am from India, Mumbai, regarding Tourist visa convert to work permit, my age is 53 years started from 12 April 2023, when i come on Tourist Visa, can i get any field job ( higher or lower level jobs) in Canada, i am a graphic Designer and Photographer, is there any age restriction to work in Canada, Can i get job there after getting work permit, kindly reply.

You don't convert it. All it does is let you wait in Canada while your LMIA and work permit is approved. Once in Canada, find a job with an employer who has an approved LMIA. The LMIA proves that no Canadian or PR can do the job only you. So make sure you have ECA for degree, IELTS and job experience letters that match your job offer with LMIA. Once you have the LMIA, you apply for a work permit and wait. Once approved you can work. So make sure you have funds to live on for many months.

It will be difficult getting a job with LMIA and closed work permit at 53. If you get any job, most likely it will be minimum wage which is barely enough to live on. This lets you work in Canada but doesn't give you status as a permanent residence. That is based on your age, education, experience, and language. For Express Entry to immigrate, you need CLB 7 but for a work permit, you probably need CLB 4 or 5. I cannot suggest a field for you. You need to do your own job search. How many months it takes depends on how fast you can get a job offer. If employer doesn't have LMIA then will have to apply for one. Then you apply for a closed work permit. So estimate 8-10 months.
Assume you have the TRV so where are you looking for a job? You need money for accommodations, food, cell, wifi etc.

So you have an approved TRV? Where are you going to do your job search? Also you can only stay in Canada for 6 months. IRCC may even give you less time so you may need to extend your stay and it may be refused if they think you are trying to live in Canada.

To get a TRV you must show ties to home country (job letter with approved leave, business, investments, spouse/child), travel history, funds and reasons to travel. You cannot say you are coming to work. For a TRV, you are coming to visit. You are not coming to live in Canada. You don’t have authorization to work so focus on getting a TRV. Search for jobs on Canadian jobs sites like Indeed.
