hi all,

Suppose I am taking $2000 with me as cash and for the rest of the proof of funds that i showed during the immigration process that is $13801 I make travellers cheque...does this $2000 is also included in the total funds avaliable at the time of landing...so even if I take $2000 as cahs and $ 11801 instead of $13801...will it be acceptable, because according to the CIC norms the total money for 2 members should be = $ 13801.. please reply senior members...

I will recommend that you take more cash with you instead of just $2000 because you will need the money when you will get there and travellers cheques may take a bit time to convert into cash.
