I just received the Notice of marriage Search from the Office of the Registrar General, and it says
In response to your request for a certificate/search, we have searched the province of Ontario records for the period and name indicated above, and found no registration that exactly matches the information you have provided us.
For Security reasons, our system will not produce a certificate unless the information you provide matches exactly with the information in our records
There may be a number of reasons that no registration was found:
3. There may never have been a registration completed on the event you are requesting.
So, do I have to bring this letter to a lawyer to have it notarized, then send it to the Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada with the request for the Single Status Certificate?
If not .. then where can i get the single status certificate?
please help me out .. thanks
