Regarding taking the funds when you Land

Hello All,

I have a question on how much fund do I need to have when I land there in Canada. We are 3 applicants for PR (my spouse, my son and myself). I can show the POF while the application is processes, however if I go alone and settle down there with a job and then I come and take my wife and son, do I need to take the funds in this case ? When I land alone there, do I need to show the fund for all the 3 people ?

Summary: Can I take the fund for just me when I land alone and if I take my wife and son after I get a job there, should I show the funds for them ?

Please help !!!

The first time you land,whether alone or with dependents, you are required to have at least the minimum required funds for all 3 of you. No other proof of funds required after your first landing.

At your first landing you need to show POF for all three members included in application irrespective of all three are landing or not.
