Regarding reference letter from current employer

Dear All,

I have got the reference letter signed on the company letter head by one of the managers in my office.
But the issue is that he is different department. I mean I am working in HR deptt. and he is in logistic deparment. Also, the company seal mentions his logistic department on the letter.
Please clarify will this letter suffice.

doesnt matter which department. if its not an official HR document, best to include the other person's ID, and an LOE describing the situation.
 
It's on the company letter head with company stamp. But I am still sceptical because the manager is from another department.

Will this suffice ?
