Guys, I am about to submit my visa application tomorrow.

can we use loan sanction letter as the only proof of fund for study permit?

My PR is also in progress. So not sure if I can show the fixed deposit pof which I am using for my PR.

However, I have education loan sanction letter covering 80% of tuition plus cost of living for 2 years.

Please let me know if I can get the student visa with only loan sanction letter.

Thanks

Please provide all details of yours.

And yes, you can use your education loan sanction letter. But you have to show tuiton fees receipt too dear, if you are under non-spp category.

For SPP, GIC is mandatory. You can also use loan sanctio lettet + proof of payment of tuition fees with that. But GIC is mandatory for SPP.

Thanks Neel.
I can't pay the tuition fee now as the university registration for Summer term hasn't open yet.

But I have the tuition fee plus cost of living covered in my loan sanction letter.
Tuition year 1 5800$
Year 2. 5800$
Cost of living fund required as per cic for 2 years. 20,000$

Total fund required by cic 31600$

Total amount covered in loan sanction letter: 34000

Thanks

For which university and which course , u have been accepted?
Generally, there is option for paying first term fees when you got acceptance letter at this time ( i.e before only 3-4 months of commencement of programme) and its details are written in that.

Provide your details so that anyone can guide you better.

Have you have option of paying tuition fees before registration for any subjects?

If not, then ask your university that you want to pay tuition fees ( one term or entire one year) because this payment's receipt is required for you to put it in as financial document in study permit.

Mention not dear.

But think twice before paying fees because if your going to be PR, then your fees will be less than the fees for international student.
