Hi,

I work in Canada and I wanted to know if my Previous Employer cant provide me Employment letter which states my dates of employment from and to and salary and all other details, then what should i do?
What document can i provide other than Employment letter?
I have all the Paystubs and the offer letter (that is initial letter when I first joined in)

Waiting for your reply

In case if your previous employer is unwilling to provide an employment letter, you can request him to issue a letter that states that he will not be able to issue any such letter along with the employer details (address and contact numbers) (For instance, it could be because of company policy etc). You can then have your manager/ supervisor issue you a letter that includes your roles and responsibilities, from and to dates and all necessary details and have this signed by from in the presence of a notary and have it notarized from the notary as well. If the second approach does not work out, then you would need to do a self declaration of the same and make an oath and sign in the presence of a notary. You can then submit the Non-issuance letter provided by the company along with the notarized declaration.
