I have recently received my ITA and have to submit Police Clearance Certificate India as per once of the requirements. I am currently residing in Seattle, Washington and my serving Indian Consulate is in San Francisco. As per the website of (https://www.cgisf.gov.in/page/pcc-police-clearance-certificate/), it usually takes a month of time to obtain the PCC. My latest passport was issued in Houston as at that point of time I was staying in Arkansas State.
Questions:
1. Can I apply for PCC at Houston Consulate General Office even though I am in Washington area now? As per my research if we apply for PCC at same consulate where the passport was issued, expedites the process and also as per the website of Houston Consulate General, they take max of a week if applied by mail.
2. Will my process we affected as I have an old passport which was issued in India causing any delay?
3. Does anyone have a recent experience of PCC application at San Fransisco consulate? How long did it take when applied in person ?
Any information will be really helpful also any suggestion is much appreciated.
