Hi. So I plan to land on Montreal on the 3rd of Sept. After a 5hr transit I'll be flying to NL. I will be fully vaccinated by 17th August.

So my question is would 5hrs be enough time to complete all the formalities? This includes getting out of the plane, waiting in line for on arrival test ( provided i register early), waiting for the test result, facing questions from the POE officer. And the I have to board the domestic flight.

With all this in mind, do you think 5hrs is enough? I know pressure in airports is different every day but still if someone could suggest, that would help out a lot.

Yes 5 hrs are enough and if at the 4th hour you feel it will take long, then just go your airlines counter and request them politely to reschedule to a later flight.

5hours is enough. I had 1 hr transit and I missed my connecting flight from Pearson. Without asking, Air Canada rescheduled me to the other flight and I picked another boarding pass from the counter. I guess they know sometimes people with short connection time can spend more time at the POE
