I came to Canada with my husband on sabbatical leaves and back in India I am still employed. I have open work permit in Canada and wanted to know can I also work here without resign from my home country job as I m not getting any salary from them.
Sure why not given you are on a sabbatical and there is no condition about having jobs or employment outside of Canada whatever your status. Obviously if you were being paid there would be tax implications for worldwide income, but you are not.

I am employed with IT MNC in India and am not sure about any such conditions.
