Hello,
I am working as a permanent full time software developer with Canadian employer, in a one year open work permit(completed one year course). My work permit is about to expire in 6 months. Is it possible to extend my work permit without LMIA, just by paying Employer compliance fee from my employer? Otherwise, is it possible to convert my open work permit to employer specific work permit and continue working? Because, i also tried writing ielts in order for me to apply PR, unfortunately, I score 5.5 in writing two times. So, please i need a suggestion. Thanks all

1. No Your employer would have to obtain a LMIA after advertising the position for a minimum of 30 days, and demonstrate why no PR/Citizens are qualified or available for the position, and the salary is at or above the usual for the position.
