Regarding interview

Hi Leon,

I had submitted my Certificates of High school, Uni, Birth, Marriage together with the application. Currently I receive a interview notice which inform me to bring these documents when attend interview. I don't know how I can do because I have not hold these documents at hand?

I am employed as export manager by a company and I am also a director and shareholder of this company. In the company's reference letter should I write my position of a director and shareholder?

I have also owned a company. If I inform them would they ask me to provide annual financial report or taxation documents.

If you sent them your original documents, do you have copies? If you do not have copies, you will have to go without your documents and trust that they will have them in your file. You should never send originals unless they ask you specifically and if you do, you should make copies of them before you send them. Usually they only ask for certified copies of documents.

In your reference letter, write the truth. If you are also a director and shareholder, there is no reason not to include this.

I read your reply to this question Leon and I am going through the same problem. The thing is that if the applicant mentions that they are shareholder of company, wont this become a disqualification ?

Basically the applicant is applying in the skilled worker class and they have given the proof of this and satisfied the immigration. On top of that they are ALSO shareholder . . so im thinking will this part ownership of company weaken their case since they would seemingly be more suited for the self employed or business category ???

If it was solely your company, they might be suspicious of your occupational classification because you can write anything you want but if you are a shareholder, I suppose it depends on how big of a shareholder you are.
