regarding hours for international student in a week

If I am working for 16 hours for first week and other week I am working 24 hours and I am getting biweekly pay. So is it right to do or not ?
Change to 20 hours per week. Because the manger is finding it hard to give me 20 hours because he has 8 hours shift.

You can work 20 hours per week. Doesn’t matter if you are paid bi-weekly.
