STUDY
My parents have separated due to my father being a criminal and currently he is somewhere incarcerated. What shall I write in Father’s column in study permit questionnaire and if I shouldn’t write anything then how can I prove we have no communication with him(and have no intention to do so)as my mother hasn’t lodged a divorce case against him.
We have a notice in local newspaper(not an English newspaper) from years ago stating we are not responsible for his actions and we are not related to him anymore. Somebody please help!
P.S: My grandparents support us and will be contributing to all the expenses borne by me to study further in Canada.

I think you should write a divorce in your mother's status and on the application form, there will be an option which will show who will pay for your living expenses. but still, you should do your own research before doing anything as I am not aware of this situation

That would weaken up socio economic ties dramatically. However, fun fact is that such profiles are also being considered and processed these days. Another of my well known got approved in weeks after being refused spot on!
