Regarding Experience

Hi,

I have four years of Canadian experience and one of Italian experience. I have added this information when I entered into the pool, and now waiting for the ITA. Unfortunately I don't have any reference or experience letter from my Italian Employ and its impossible to get it either. In this case, is it a problem that I have added this information. ( i mean when I get ITA, do they by all means need this experience letter from my employee (because i gain points on this basis as well), or is it enough that I submit a cover letter with explanation and showing my documents when I was in italy like..appointment letter, details in passport etc), OR should I remove all these details to be safe sided where I will loose almost 30 points. Plz advise.

You need to try harder to reach your Italian employer and see if they can provide you with this reference letter.
If not, then you can include all the documents such as offer letter, work contract, visa, pay stubs, documents showing your job responsibilities, etc. and then include a LOE stating the reason about not being able to produce this reference letter.
This should work out fine.

What is a LOE? Not providing this reference letter, will this be a reason to reject the file?? Because I have the appointment letter, Italian visa, soggorno copy, identity card copy etc etc...but no pay slip because the salary was directly coming into the account ....will these documents be enough?

LOE - Letter of Explanation
If you provide all the documents and attach this LOE, then it will be fine. I hope your offer letter has the salary mentioned on it.

They are not just trying to verify that you worked there. They are also checking that the work you did there matches the NOC you are claiming points for.

So, submitting work contracts, pay stubs etc will not suffice IMHO. If you can't reach the company, try and contact a former supervisor or former HR to get you the letter. If it can't be on company letterhead, let them do it on a paper and have it notarized.

Thanks a lot. Its unfortunate, i cant provide that letter and I tried it a lot. If i go ahead with those documents with LOE, will that be a reason to reject the file? All the more my appointment letter doesnt say about the salary as well. i am afraid...

Why can't you be positive?

If you clearly mention a valid reason for not being able to produce a ref. letter, then it has to be accepted by CIC.
