Dear Sir / Moderator / Folks / Mates

I am filling up the cotizenship application through computer

So the box in the form is very small

My address is

Building 60/1 Road 6A Gulshan

As the box doesn't allow me to fill this I am writing

BLDG 60/1 Road 6A Gulshan ( it does fit in like that )

Is that ok ?

Um. The question is whether the post office will recognize the abbreviation and in the case of Bldg. or Rd. they certainly will.

Standard postal abbreviations are fine.

Right sir ?
If the box is filling then use a blank piece of paper and write the question corresponding the the application form and write the complete address.

Check this link:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/CIT0002ETOC.asp

This is what it says:

Note: If you need more space for any section, use an extra sheet of paper and indicate the number and/or letter of the section you are completing and submit it along with your application.

Hello women!

You lived there for "a few days"? How long? What were the terms of the agreement? Do you have any documentation of it?

In general, yes, you need to list the whole address in a comprehensible way. But, if it's a hotel room or someplace that you stayed while you were on vacation or a work trip or something, I wouldn't list that as someplace that I "lived".

It's a hotel

And I forgot the room number

I came for a trip for 3 days
You were visiting, not living here. A brief visit does not mean that it was your residence.

Re: Regarding Address a question : Respectable Moderator , Folks or Mates, Ma'am

As you wish.
But you're missing the point.

Applicants don't need to list every single hotel we've stayed in for the last 4 years. Or if they were dating someone and stayed over their house once in awhile, they don't need to list "June 19, stayed at my boyfriend's house." Or "Got drunk and slept on my friend's couch for one night in November 3 years ago."

A hotel you stayed in for a long weekend is not one of your addresses. If someone asked you when you were at the hotel "what's your address? I want to mail you a letter" you wouldn't give them the hotel address.

In any case, if you really want to put it down for whatever reason, I recommend indicating (hotel for 3 days) after the address.

Hey I looked a lot

In the filling up section of the form

In the section where you have to fill up the form

In the apartment section I had to keep the box empty

Cause building I lived was my friends place for 3 days

6427 Walker Avenue

It was a house with no apartment number only 1 door

So what shall I write in the apartment box section ?

while living at your friend's house what was your actual residence? i mean to ask were you living somewhere else (renting/owning a house) and just went to your friend's house for three days or you left your rented house permanently and moved to friends house for 3 days and then moved to new address?
