Hello, I am gonna have a newborn baby soon in couple months. He is gonna be born in China. What is the process for me to apply for the newborn citizenship? Anything I need to be aware of?

I am a Canadian born citizen myself and my wife is born in China.

Any advice???? Thanks!!

Proof of citizenship... Your child is automatically a Canadian... You will need your wife's medical records, birth certificate of the child that shows both names of the parents, your Canadian birth certificate.... etc....

And at some point a Canadian passport without which child cannot travel to Canada.
