Reg. Updation of E-cas

Now I dont know how many of you have observed that but there is no need to login to Ecas rather just click "Check my Application Status" and on the very next page there is a thing that is written at bottom left corner "Last Modified on 13-5-2009".I think we should only login further if that date changes otherwise there is no need to continue as the status will remain same.

ACCORDING TO MY KNOWLEDGE IST IS THE DATE WHEN THE WEBSITE IS UPDATED AND NOT THE STATUS OF MY FILE ITS MY PERSONAL EXP.

There are different dates regarding "Modification" on different pages of CIC website.If you open the main page,botton left corner says"Last Modified on 19/5/09" while as you open "Check my Application Status" ,it says"Last Modified on 13/05/09".

Shouldn't I deserve a Medal or some Cheque for this great observation !!! Now that doesnt mean that I visit CIC website a million times in a day.It just came out incidentally.Now I will be waiting for some sort of Reward on that.

Hi Imranali

I think you are wrong I have check my status as on 16.05.09 & it shows that my application in process but when i check my status on 19.05.2009 it shows application received that means the site updated in between 16.05.09-19.05.09 . whereas on site it shows that site updated on 13.05.09

Now on soe serious note,can u please share your timeline with us! When did you send you documents to local visa office cuzz I have been waiting for updation of my Ecas for now 15 days,I have seny my Full Application with supporting docs on 7th May,2009 but still no news ,letter or updation of Ecas.......
