Hello all. I have applied on may 30 & got rejected on July 17...... the reasons are.....
persuant section 219 and 220

am not satisfied that:
i) you have sufficient resources to pay for your tuition fees
ii) you have sufficient resources to take care of your self and family members that will be accompany you while in Canada

you will not leave Canada after your studies in Canada, reasons
i)travel History
ii) personal assets and financial status.

those were reasons........... my neighbor uncle was my sponsor with CAD more than 20,000..... what should I do now?????? any better idea is accepted.

I do not really know your situation but tuition fees for a non-resident are some $10,000/year; and you would need some $800 - $1,000/month per person to barely survive (food, transportation, shelter).
If you have family, then you would need more money to live.

How much money did you uncle show? How much is your first year tuition? How many family members are coming with you?

I agree that is doesn't sound like you showed enough funds. I also think they probably want to see the funds in your name rather than someone else's.

Quite unusual for a "neighbor's uncle" to sponsor his "nephew's neighbor" - why? I bet the visa officer is wondering just how plausible it is for non-family member to be understaking such a committment? Is this just for the 1st year or throughout your entire education?

I don't really know - may be you can ask your neighbor's uncle to write a letter of sponsorship in which he explains why he made a committment to sponsor you and what he will be responsible for. Try to apply for scholarships too.

You applied.....What......I guess student visa......Ok....Which program and what is the duration of the program?...Your neighbor uncle cannot sponsor you. Only first blood connected wealthy relatives can give sponsorship......only $20,000.....this amount is nothing for student sponsorship.....Therefore, don't reapply....you will be refused again unless you get sponsorship from first blood connected wealthy relatives.

It would be impossible to get visa for two years program with that amount of money. Complete your education from your country and start working. After that, you can try for skilled immigration in Canada if you are qualify in future.

Sorry to say that not everything is for everyone. This is reality. I hope you would understand. Best of luck.

Which country are you from? I read on this forum that Indian students usually take loan from the bank and get visa under SPP program. You can search Google. The more money you shows, I believe the better chances are to get visa.

You should apply for GCMS notes along with physical visa file before reapplying. You would find VO's details explanation on the GCMS notes and mark up, if any, on the physical file. Physical file usually the same documents you submitted with your application.

The more money you show, the better chances are to get the visa. You should show at least { total tuition fees + living expenses per month at least $900 (24*900)}*2 or 3 = $$$$$

You need to improve your IELTS score (6 or 6.5) as well.
