Refused study visa, urgent help needed

scylla: May be thats a prob but my friend just received it on W5.5 S6.5 L7.5 R6.5, if I go for IELTS again I have to wait for another 2 months as IELTS Dates are not available and I can defer this to next season only.

Update: My consultant asked me to access CAIPS Notes(I don't know if CAIPS is right word here, it is something that we can request their notes on my refusal), this request may take up to 30days of time.

Yes get your detailed refusal notes.

I don't think there are any problem with your IELTS. You can improve if you want to.

Once you get detailed refusal notes, try to fix them. And don't try to change any facts that you submitted already with your previous application. CIC keep perfect record of all documents you furnished.

Try to improve it by making your SOP strong and making your finances strong. You don't have time to apply again for January intake. So consider getting ready to apply for May or September intake.

Use this time to make your next application strong and get admission in a better university and in a better course if you want.

Also, Filled a new IELTS exam for improving my scores and written a new genuine SOP for myself and thinking of adding Letter of Recommendation from the University Professors, i think that can be useful, right?

Requested University to Defer my admission to next season. Can you help me here? Which University can accept for the following profile? If you have any idea?

- IELTS 6.5 overall (L8, R6.5, S6, W6)
- 36 month work exp in IT company(MNC)
- 66% in BTech Computer Science (2008-12)
- 52% 10+2 (Grade 12)

University of British Colombia could be the best option. They have vancouver campus where vancouver is one of the best place in the world to live. The weather is moderate and university ranking is also good.

Second option is University of Windsor where the location is near the USA border and near Toronto.

Third option is University of Winnipeg or University of Manitoba. The fees is less (around 14k a year) but harsh weather.

Most of the courses in the above universities require atleast 6 or 6.5 overall IELTS.

I have just noticed that you applied to Concordia University.

It is in Qubec and you should have applied to CAQ before applying for the study permit. Did you do that?

Applying to Qubec can go tricky unless you have French proficiency.

Are you aware of this before applying?

I fell sorry for you hs.harpreet101, but dont loose hope ok!? As they say, "The beginning is always the hardest". I am like you applying for a student permit as well. I guess the University that you have applied with is in Quebec right? A french speaking province, so you need to provide your ability in that language as well. With regards to your SOP, according to my readings, you need to state your concrete post studies plan (e.g going back to your home country for better eployment or venturing in a new business etc)

@PumpkinJack: hmm, I was checking university websites but I think their deadlines are crossed or about to cross. I need a university that sends offer letter bit early as Concordia just sent me later Oct.
Yes, I have my CAQ with me, If I did not have that then in refusal letter they must have ticked one column for CAQ and I am aware about Quebec, my friends are already there. Montreal is good place for students and I know we need to learn french too for off campus jobs.

We can apply with IELTS Score only and can learn french there in Quebec, it is not mandatory while applying actually. I will definitely add that plans as well.

Harpreet, most of the universities take 4 weeks to send your letter of acceptance. Indeed University of British Colombia attracts alot of people and it is very competitive.

You can try for Windsor or Winnipeg. They take 4 weeks to send the letter of acceptance by email. You will receive another copy by post after another month. I can help you if you want to go for Windsor.

nomarks required are no different. MSc requires a professor in most universities without which they will not give u admission. Some universities give admission to Mengg if u have applied to MSc and couldnt find prof but that depends as some will reject u.

*I am actually good at programming
*I can't include Letter of recommendations from the university professors as 30th will be the only day I am going to have.

I was accepted by the Concordia University(MS in Software engg)-Winter session but recently got refused by Chandigarh embassy with the reason "Proposed program is not reasonable in light of past studies, language scores and language abilities.". Please help me here, what I have to do now?

1. Can I add Statement of Purpose defining my intent? related to interest in course?
2. Is there any chances of getting visa, if I reapply again?
3. If re applied, do I need to add anything else?
3. As 30th is Monday here and can I apply in this term?

Please help me guys, it is very urgent.

what financial documents did u add? did u do ur own application? just asking as sometimes agents screw up applications. applying again without addressing the refusal reason is not right . also as scylla has suggested improve IELTS

That's your reason of refusal. You need a certified study loan (India).
