Refused application - Trying to figure out why

Hey there, I applied for a student's visa about a week back before they refused my application on what seems to be three grounds:

- Lack of finincial support

- Purpose of visit

- Travel history

Now looking back at the documents I provided them regerding my financial statues it seems that's where I made a mistake and gave them a erroneous account of how much money I have. But before I reapply i'll like to know about the two other issues they have with my application. What could go wrong with my purpose of visit and my travel history?
