Hi everyone,

I am asking for this guidance on behalf of a sister's friend. I have been away on this forum for almost two years. Straight to the point, she applied for study permit and did biometric on June 22. She raised a webform in late August that her LOA has been revised for Winter- January 2022. Because the resumption date was very close for Fall September 2021. In September, she was sent/request to go for medical exam and a correspondence request for revised LOA to be uploaded on her application. She passed medical on October 22. She did uploaded the requested new LOA but the problem arise when she tried to sign and submit. Her computer freezes. She tried again but couldn't sign again, as it stated uploaded. She was refused on November 9, 2021 for not submitting the LOA revised. She quickly go through the submitted document again and was able to sign and submit. She also get email notification that her application status has changed but still showing refused.

Can someone pls advice or offer any suggestion?

She can reapply again or send webform for reconsideration...Looks like everything was fine except revised LOA

Thanks a bunch. The webform was raised same day November 9. Another email was sent to the Senior Immigration Manager. One thing is that, she got email next day after refusal that reads" Your application status has changed.
To check what's changed with your application's status:
1. Sign in to your account.
2. Click Check full application status under View the applications you submitted."

Presently, it showings that the requested document received and replaced. However, the status still shows refused. Could it be that they are working on it or what?
Can she wait for a week and go for Judicial Review or only need to reapply but her program start in January 10, less than 2 months.

Looks like they will process reconsideration request. A week for JR is too close call for Program starting in January. Is she willing to pay lawyer for JR process that she could wait or reapply? JR will look into application of law and guidelines, but this one is submission issue ( non-compliance ). I may be wrong but final decision is up to her

You are right. Another issue of concern is that, she was the one that first raised webform and upload the new LOA, before immigration sent correspondence that she should submit it on her application. I believe the GCMS will reflect that she submitted original copy earlier. But the mistakes comes from computer glitch as she uploaded it but not sure if it was submitted earlier but on the day of refusal, her profile page shows "you will not be able to submit a document when it is "overdue" but was able to sign and submit again.

Exactly. She has grounds for reconsideration and thats why i guess they will process the request. There is break in between webform raised request and VO holding your file. It could be timing factor.... hopefully she will be fine
