Good afternoon,

I got this email from Cic this morning

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. Please note that your file is in process and will continue to be processed at the Case Processing Pilot-Ottawa (“CPP-O”) office. I am writing you this letter to express my serious concern(s) regarding your application.

Based on your application and supporting documents, you have not satisfied me that you meet the requirements in this category. In addition, on April 15, 2014 I spoke with the Manager of Corporate Accounting at xxxxxxx who confirms your duties were limited to that of an accounts payable clerk. The onus is on you to demonstrate that you are working for an existing employer, that you are working in the capacity and salary declared and that you worked sufficient hours to qualify in the CEC category. Before a final decision is made on your application, you may submit any documents you would like me to consider.

Therefore I am asking you to submit any additional information and/or documentation that would allay my concern(s). You have 30 days from the date of this letter to submit the additional information and/ or documentation to the above address.

Please ensure that you quote the file number indicated at the top of this letter on any information you submit. If you choose not to respond with additional information and/or documentation, or if your submission does not allay these concern(s), your application may be refused.

Just to let you know i have submitted a cover letter and explained why I considered myself as an accounts payable analyst when i was working with xxxx company.

Now any other thought?

My reference letter issued by corporate accounting manager But I explain on cover letter to verify my duties with my supervisor.
However, I have an another application on process on CIC. I got the alberta nomination last november and i send my application to cic on january. I did my medical last weekend. Is there will be any negative if i refuse cec? I applied alberta nominee - alberta work experience category. As I was not getting any news from CEC application..so I thought i should have some back up.

Thanks guys!!

Which NOC code did you use to apply for your CEC and which NOC Code do you think the VO thinks your occupation falls under?
Any decision made on your CEC application will not negatively affect your AINP (unless you pose a security or medical threat to the country).

Re: Refusal or should i Withdraw my application ( February 2013 applicant ) help

I did used 1212 ( Accounts Payable Analyst). And its wired that accounts payable supervisor also have the same NOC code. I worked x company for more than 18 months and I was working as an payable clerk. After our team lead left the company, I was dealing with her vendors and did many trained with new hire employee and summer students. On my reference letter it also mentioned that i was involved with trained new employee.

So, I sent a cover letter with other additional duties and used 1212 NOC code for 8 months only out of 18 months. I did worked for another company as a document technician for more than 6 months. And I did claim for 8 months as an accounts payable analyst and document technician ( 8 months plus 6 months) =14 months.

Can anyone please advise me what type of other document I can submit to the visa officer to satisfy him/ her, when he/she already called my corporate manager who have never worked before in an accounting department.

Thanks again :)
