Sorry to hear your refusal. You can always reapply whenever your situation/status changed. If your lmo is still valid i suggest you reapply again and try to provide some proofs like your ties back home,properties..etc.. you just have to demonstrate that youll definitely go back to your home country.

By the way what job did u apply for? Maybe ur line of expertise is not very much in demand in ur country.

By the way you can only appeal when Visa Officer has made a mistake on your application.

Goodluck

Let us get to know you a little better and maybe someone can give you some advice. If you were the visa officer would you have come to the same conclusion from the information you supplied? What is your employment history? Do you have savings. Own property. Have you traveled outside the country for pleasure?
What are your ties to home ? What job did you get in Canada. Have you done the same Work at home for at least a year in the past three years? Good luck.

Sorry to hear that. Please let us know what job you applied for. I am about to get a work permit and a bit scared that this will also happen to me. Can somebody give me an advise if I qualify for a working permit?

My current situation is:

I am living in KSA working as a staff nurse in the same hospital since 14th of July 2012 to present. I am from the Philippines but back at home I was on a part time job as a nurse trainee good for 6 months only. There is a work gap between 2011 to mid 2012. I graduated BSN and got 24 units in Master's degree. I am applying for live-in caregiver program in Canada. Do you think I am qualified for this position? Kindly enlighten me. Thanks!

Having a BSN certainly is a great credential and should be more than enough qualification for a caregiver position. Do you have experience working with children? Explain the gaps in your education/employment and it shouldn't be a problem. Just don't leave anything to the imagination of the VO. Be sure to include all your ties to home if you are applying for a temporary visa.

Yes.. Sometimes I am a floater working in pedia ward and NICU in our hospital if no staff nurse is available. My current area of assignment is Medical ward. Most of our patients are bedridden or with mobility problem that is why my employer hired me because of this. She is looking for a caregiver that specializes in the care of the disabled.

What ties to home should be included? I am single at the moment but my boyfriend wants us to get married. If we get married, can this be a proof for a strong ties to home country? What else can I prove them that I will leave Canada once my contract is ended?

Certainly being married and having your spouse at home is a strong tie. So are children. Showing proof that you are presently well employed (you are!) is also great. Shows good potential for employment at home. Owning property, involvement in community and family, also important.

Thanks the response. Do you think it's a must to write an explanation letter about my work gap? Well I was a full time student at that time I was unemployed but unfortunately I didn't finish my master's degree because I accepted the job offer here in Saudi Arabia.

That is a good explanation for the gap and unfinished degree. I do think it is in your best interest to explain anything out of the ordinary.
