Dear All,
I applied on Feb'11, received my AOR/file# by march and medicals done by sept. And eCAS updated to medicals recieved. But on Oct last week I noticed in eCAS the status was updated to Decision Made.

AndI received the decision letter, the reason mentioned by VO is that he is not satisfied with the IELTS score.
I have got overall 6.0, but as per cic guide for Skil Level 0 or A
7 or higher for each of the language abilities, or
6 for any one of the language abilities, 7 or higher for any other two of those abilities and 8 or higher for the remaining ability,

In this case do I need to reapply freshly or can I appeal with the IELTS score of 7 using the File#?
Please help!!!

You have to re-apply from the beginning.

I appeared for IELTS after submitting my application, its for someother purpose. during that time I have got overall 6.5 score.
And below is the score details

So people could get redused after ME??????
The bulk of eligibility processing is now completed before MR. During 2011 meds were happening a lot beforehand...

So, unless you have a major issue with security/crim/meds chances of being refused after MR are now greatly reduced.

Folks, i feel we should not revive these old threads from 2011 as these may lead to lot of confusion among other members who are going through the process right now

with the current process , its very unlikely that one will get refused in terms of eligibility after Medical is done

Yes , Medical / Criminality / security issues can lead to refusal depending on individual application background

Totally agreed
Is there a way to archive this somehow?

Nope and there really is no need. Someone had asked a question and got an answer that should elevate their concerns and similar concerns of others.

This thread was opened when CPP-O was a pilot at which point MR's were issued before eligibility checks. This has changed and is no longer the case, as pointed out above.
