Refunded Fees if application hasn't been processed

Hi all,

After a long discussion, my wife and I have made the decision that I will move to her country. Their spousal/family process is extremely quick, and I could have a visa within a month's time.

Seeing as the government has not started processing our application (submitted in early May), is it possible to get it refunded?

Seeing as the government has not started processing our application (submitted in early May), is it possible to get it refunded?

My understanding is that you can get it refunded at any point of the process, as long as a decision has not been made. Hopefully others will offer their opinions as well.

They give refund according to the stages. My friend got app. $500 refund even few days before the interview and DM
