Hi,

I had applied on September 27, 2008 and had received my file number in October 2008, but unfortunately my job does not seem to be on the 38 job list, so I feel that there is no chance of me trying forward. I would like to know whether I would get my refund of the application fees and would also like to know how long it would take. Would it be beneficial if I call the Canadian High Commission office and find out about this.

Thanks

ameliasriram,
For your info:

What if I have already applied and want to withdraw my application? Can I get my money back?

You can contact your local visa office and withdraw your application. Your fee will be refunded as long as the office has not begun processing your application.
