refund problem

hi my got rejected,and nw i am going to refund my money,bt the problem is that the bank's branch in city do not have swift code,they r saying that i should give ifsc and swift code of other branch along with my account number.
The bank is vijaya bank garhshankar and they r saying me to give ifsc and swift code of vijya bank jallandhar.
Should i do this?

There wont be any issues in that.. Money will be transffered through the main branch in jalandhar to ur account..but its better to check with main branch first..
But i guess all the bank branches have ifsc code..may be they require some other code like IBAN number..

VIJB0007518 IFCS code. He was right about money being routed via main branch of the state which in your case would be Jalandhar and Ludiana.
