Refund for Work Permit

I know this is a long shot, but is there anyway to get a refund on a work permit that you no longer require.
Reason why is because I was still waiting on my PR and my work permit expired, so I had to apply for another one so I could continue to work whilst waiting for the decision on my PR. Now that I have my PR status, is there anyway I can ask for a refund for the work permit since I don't need it now.

Yes you can request a refund. The information can be found on the website. However CIC will see that you already have PR and close the work permit application and might then refund you. Since its a processing fee though once they start working on your application you will not get the refund. You have to cancel before the processing starts.
