Refugee Plan to be revealed on Tuesday 24 November

Hi, I know that sometimes there is speculation on this forum about possible future dates of EE draws. Given the fact that there may be a draw this week given the recent trend of doing draws every fortnight, I was doing some research and came across this article:

I don't know what it may or may not mean in terms of possibly having a draw this coming week, but I thought that I would at least keep people informed. To people out there (including myself) who hope there will be a draw this week in no way am I trying to reduce expectations or trying to use the information in this article to suggest there may not be a draw. I've decided that if I post something here at least it comes from a 'credible-looking' source.

I think it is a very complex and unprecedented situation the Government is facing now. I also think that the schedule for the draws has been established ahead, rather than draws done randomly, so refugee crisis and recent events should not be seen as a major influence on the process. My educated guess is based on the fact that new Government already commited to 1 draw, meaning that they are sticking to the economic immigration process.
I also think that the background checks for people with ITAs will be much more stricter and possibly lengthier though, especially for people with certain names or for people coming from certain regions.
