Hi Everybody,

Can anybody help me to understand the process of withdrawing my refugee claim for applying student visa? to withdraw my claim as a refugee can influence of my study permit? Do I have to apply for student visa out of canada? How long does it take to have passport to go back to the my country of citizenship or to any country?

Thanks in advance..

I think your chances of being approved for a student visa are pretty much non existent. To be approved, you must demonstrate that you have strong ties to your home country and have no plans to remain in Canada long term. Since you filed a refugee claim (even if it's withdrawn), I don't see how it will be possible for you to prove either of these requirements.

Also, you cannot apply for a student visa from within Canada - only through your home country's visa office.

if i were you i wouldnt risk my refugee status-You get many things for free.Must you get to a govt college? There are many private colleges you can go to.
