Refugee claim query 2014

Hello friends

I need guidance on my case. I am Muslim guy from India married to Hindu girl 2yrs back.due to intercaste marriage I had to face so many problems from local politics parties and people around us.I was working with MNC company on good post but I realised due to my intercaste marriage people used to avoid me and that hateness can be seen while interecting

.before marriage few political party guys attacked my wife and her family as her family was supporting our marriage.
now we landed canada in on vvisitors visa since my brother is here and he is ready to help us.
pls guide me way to settle in cCanada. I m educted and have 10yrs of working experience with MNCfirm.is there any other way to settle apart from refugee???? as we want to keep refugees as last option.if we apply f

if we apply as refugees.how long it will rake to get decision. we can't think of going back as we left
our settle job our family asw e suffered a lot mentallyand physically.

Thank you for your positive response. I did my research on cic website but I couldn't understand about time frame as its says within 60 days cic will review and take decision on refugee cases. I hv police report and medicals in place. I am meeting lwayrr next week so hope for the best.
My wife is pregnent so I m little worried if negative decision come and we have to go back aftrr 60 days. I m little worried abt that.

1. CIC won't accept a refugee claim while you are residing in India.

its not about Canada.I have USA ,singaopre and malaysiya and Australia visas too and traveled to these countries before coming to Canada but I came to cCanada bcuz ihv brother and few family members hear so theye can be there in my bad and good times.I don't wanted to go in others countries where we're totally strangers. now if u can guide on my problem it will be great help.

no as I ddon't wanted to move out of country before marriage so never asked my family to sponsor

I HV checked on CIC website I fal under one of skilled worker category so planing to apply on that even I don't want to become burden on someone as till date I HV worked hard to build my self with halal money .the only wory is I can'tgo back to iIndia meantime if I go backit might bbe worst for us.
