Refugee : Can i send a letter requesting my claim to be expedited ?

Hi, I have been waiting ten months and its mentally destroying me , not knowing what is coming next in my life , my building in Syria was destroyed to the ground last week due to the continues violence in there.
I thought to send a letter explaining my situation and photos for my building to the IRB ,so hopefully they can make my interview sooner !

Do you guys thinks that will get my calim any sooner ?
