"Refugee Applicant" business law

Hi,

I applied for a "Refugee Protection" in 2010 and am still waiting for a result from the Immigration.

In the meantime, I opened a business in 2013 along with 2 other partners.

The following documents are registered under the 3 partners name :

1. The business is registered from the City of Ottawa.
2. One individual business bank account is opened.
3. Lease agreement for 10 years.

But unfortunately we didn't made any "Partnership agreement" while we opened the business.

On this occasion, I have decided to leave the business in between and also decided to sell my share either to the other 2 business partners or to any other third party from outside. But the other 2 partners are not agreeing on the either of the fact, which means neither they want to buy the shares on their own nor they are allowing any third party to come in between and buy those shares.

What is the next step for me? What can I do further as a recovery step in such kind of situation?

Thank You.

Obviously they can't be forced to buy your share but it would seem unlikely that they could prevent you from passing on your share to a 3rd party, unless it explicitly states that in your contracts. Maybe you should discuss this with a business lawyer?
