Thanks for reading this.

Briefly, I have 10 years continuous service with CCompany, because they have bought out my previous employer(s). But they are unable to fill in some information for a period of joint venture where there are no distinctive records - should I not consider a joint venture to be a separate employer?

I am struggling to provide a reference letter that satisfies my representative. It shows start/end dates, roles, responsibilities, salary and hours worked.

The main reason is my initial employer ACorp (2004) went in a joint venture with B-Org (2007), and B-Org was bought out by CCompany in 2010.

I have my contract for ACorp 2004, and a transitional contract into CCompany (2010).
ACorp no longer exists. B-Org was bought over by CCompany.

My CCompany employer can provide all the information required on the reference letter, going back to 2004, as I am considered to have 10 years continuous service with CCompany.

My manager/supervisor has remained constant in those 10 years, but I must get the reference from my HR department. It is signed by HR, not by my supervisor.

If I am considered to have 10 years continuous employment, can I just remove ACorp and B-Org from my documentation, and just show CCompany as my constant employer for those 10 years?

My initial contract in 2004 says 'ACorp' though - how can I represent this accurately? I have no contract for B-Org, and CCompany has no records during this period, so cannot represent my salary (this information is therefore not on the letter from HR).

Any advice greatly appreciated, as after waiting nearly a year for this to reopen, and having my reference letter ready for a couple of months (with no peep from my representative that it was not sufficient) I'm now rushing to get it together.
Many thanks for any pointers I haven't thought of.
