Hi Guys,

I worked with my present company from 2010 till 2011, then left for my Masters from 2011 to 2014. i then rejoined the company in 2014 with basically the same job roles and same job title. In creating my profile in EE, i added these as two different work history, i hope this is correct ?

Secondly i have worked with the same manager who is prepared to provide me with a reference letter, how do you think he should write it? Does he provide two separate letters for the different years with the roles?

Lastly, how and where can my manager mention that i was on official non-paid leave to pursure my MS degree ?

Please your input will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and regards,

Yes.

Get 2 separate letters.

It doesn't need to be mentioned as non-paid leave anywhere in your reference letters. Those years are covered by Education in your Personal history section so it doesn't make a difference to your PR application.

Please your input will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks you for your input.
Today, my Manager has made me single reference letter because i am working on same salary as a full-time employee on same designation with same job duties before and after my MSC period i.e. Sep 2011- Sep 2014.

He has also mentioned my official un-paid leave period in my letter stating that i was on unpaid official leave during the above stated period for my MSC studies.

Will it be ok for me to submit this letter ?

Im worried now :(

This letter is absolutely fine. It is always better providing redundant extra information rather than missing out on some information.

Thank you for your help ... I feel bit relaxed :)

Can you also guide me that how should i write this information in my Previous work experience in last 10 years ?

Should i write it as a continuous work experience i.e. (from Aug 2010 - Till Today) or should i write it as two separate work experiences ignoring the time of my MS degree i.e. (Aug 2010-Aug 2011 + Oct 2014 - Till Today) ?

Going through the forum, I think that if i write it as two separate work experiences, The system will ask for 2 separate work experience letters. Can you guide me that what should i do in that scenario ?
Should i upload the same letter twice for each experience or should i upload the LOE in place of 2nd work experience letter and explain the details in that LOE ?

Show it as 2 separate experiences and upload the same letter in both places with a covering note (in one or both places) that explains your particular situation.

I have sent you a message in your inbox with my work reference letter. If its not too much to ask from you, Can you have a look at it and let me know if i can go ahead submitting my OOPNP file with this letter ?

Really appreciate all your efforts.
