Hi
I worked for 7 years in a company and have all the increment letters with salary hikes and promotions mentioned. However at the time of issuing me the reference letter the company just mentioned the last position I held before leaving.
If I attach all my increment letters do I still need to mention each and every designation I held in my reference letter separately or will that not be required.

Please advise

Thanks in advance

If you add a separate row for each job, you would need separate letters. If you dont add separate rows, you can use 1 letter. To have it all in 1 placeholder would be quite a task considering the max file size is 4 MB.

Thanks

I have added one row for each company.

In this case I worked for this company and got 3 promotions and so 3 designations. The reference letter says my last designation before leaving.
My question is do i ask the company to rewrite my reference letter adding all 3 designations and year of promotions or simply uploading the increment letters would work.

My issue is the same. I worked for one company and got promoted. Either way is acceptable. You could list all the positions in 1 letter or you can get separate letters for each position. I got 3 separate letters for each position that I held in that company as IMO it looks more organised and each position had it's own set of duties.

You can get 3 of them in the same letter, anyway all is acceptable.

Guys I have got 5 promotions in my current company...but my responsibilities are almost same....is it necessary that I try to change the wording and make my duties appear different under each designation?

Hi Ashutosh, i am interested in know how did you go about it finally? did you get 3 reference letters or used the one with just the latest designation. i am having a similar issue and wanted some advice. i was working with my ex employer from 2009 to 2016 and was a manager at the time of leaving the company which is mentioned on the reference letter and the responsibilities mentioned are also corresponding to the manager role. so is it ok if use that for the entire tenure of 8 years or break up the duration across various roles though i will not have those roles in the reference letter.
