I sent a scanned color copy of my employer reference letter with my aplication. The document checklist is not clear whether it should be a copy or original? Will my application be returned ?

In the document checklist, they specifically say copies of T4, Copies of Work permit etc but not for Employer reference letters. This is what confused me
You're half right, in that the specific line item for employer reference letters does not say the word 'copy'. But the document checklist does specify for work experience information in general that copies are to be provided.
