Reference Letter/US PCC/ Passport.. Please help...

Dear Friends..
Currently I am India and planning to apply for immigration and here are my some doubts.

1) I was in USA for more then 3 years (3 states). For FBI and state PCC, How to get finger prints done..
2) How to get reference letter on company letterhead (I think, I cannot tell that I need for Canada Immigration).
3) Do I need reference letter from previous employer as well (I have experience letter from all my previous employer.. will that work)
4) My wife is still carrying her old surname on her passport, will it create problem (Though my Name is endorsed on her Passport)
5) For myself and spouse what can be the proof for DOB, till now we used to provide our 10th marksheet as that used to contain DOB (we have passport as well). Will any of this will work??
6) My current offer letter says that my position is "Tech Lead", However I am working as project manager, How we can prove that... Will word "Tech Lead" create problem if I apply in

1) download the forms, go to relevant authority in your country and do fingerprint
2) ask someone in your company or manager for that
3) experience letter is okay as long as it states your duties and relevant information (that is if you are using those experience for points).
4) No it won't
5) I don't know but you can also apply for Birth certificate
6) If you get a letter from your company that shows the years you worked as a tech lead and the years that you worked as a project manager with the duties supplied will work as long one of these two jobs qualify under the 38 job list.

Visit the website for FBI and state specific and then put a request for fingerprinting card, I am not sure if FBI accept any format? In USA the fingerprinting cards are of same format for FBI and other states. Once you have the fingerprinting card then you need to find out in your city where fingerpriting can be done , check out from Passport office

2) How to get reference letter on company letterhead (I think, I cannot tell that I need for Canada Immigration). From your current employer you can say that I have to apply for Canada tourist visa and they need this information. For my case I told them that I have to submit in Canada visa office, they did not even ask for what purpose ( it is common in US people visit canada).

3) Do I need reference letter from previous employer as well (I have experience letter from all my previous employer.. will that work)- If your previous exp. letters has details like Designation,Salary , Service date and roles/duties performed during your stay then thats what CIC wants, if not then I would say request them and tell them why you need they should be able to do that.

4) My wife is still carrying her old surname on her passport, will it create problem (Though my Name is endorsed on her Passport) - If her name is not changed officially then no issues ( make sure name on passport,marriage certificate,birth certificate , educational doc and if you have kid then name on child's birth certifcate is same ). If she has changed the name then you should have the affidavite or some sort of supporting doc

5) For myself and spouse what can be the proof for DOB, till now we used to provide our 10th marksheet as that used to contain DOB (we have passport as well). Will any of this will work?? - No, Please apply for actual birth certifiate issued by muncipal corporation, it takes lot of time

Will word "Tech Lead" create problem if I apply in - Designation does not matter, if you are performing the duties as mentioned in 'NOC-0213' then you are good to go, for proving this you should ask your reporting boss to approve your current duties and then HR should issue the certificate, tell the story that you need to visit some of your relative in canda and I have to submit this information to VISA office

Can I go to Indian Police station and get my fingerprints...??? or do I need to go to some agency...???

For finger printing.. Can I download and print FBI card.. ??? Make sure you are not taking printout on normal A4 bond paper, it needs to be on different paper (bit thicker one so that your fingerprints are coming proper)

Can I go to Indian Police station and get my fingerprints...??? or do I need to go to some agency...??? any thing should work a police station or private agency
