I was recently given an ITA and I am the primary applicant. I have over 10 years working experience and I have worked in my present organisation for about 8 years plus. However I have an issue with the reference letter given to me by my organisation. The letter states that I resumed my present position/job title in January 2013(offically) but I was acting in that capacity since August of the previous year and that was the same period I filled in my profile. Secondly, the total work hours stated on my letter is 40 while on my profile I indicated 45. I work from 8am to 5pm and even later. We close to customers at 4pm but we reconcile our books till 5. No one is allowed to leave by 4 except nursing mothers. I have asked my company's HR to make the necessary adjustments but they said the company has a format for all reference letters for immigration purposes and therefore cannot change it. How do I go about it?will my application be refused? Do I decline the application? I will be a year older in a month and my score will reduce by 5 points and I don't want to risk that. Do I write to explain? Will my explanation be accepted? Please someone should advise me .
