Coz am pretty much sure that my HR dept or my supervisor will not issue any such letter and rather it might further create problem for me in future....
That letter is must. There are other ways to provide proof to Cic like pay slips offer letter ID cards self deceleration of job duties but your best bet is to get the cic pattern letter
