Hi Guys,

I received ITA last month and working on the reference letters.

I worked for a Canadian Employer - A Bank - 10 years ago.
Have the offer letter, pay slips, relieving letter, T4 tax papers etc

HR of my Canadian employer (a bank) gave a reference letter with job responsibilities which don't match the NOC code job responsibilities.

I managed to get a letter from one of my supervisors.
- He is a canadian, a senior manager, working in the bank for more than 10 years
- Has all the required details for the reference letter
- His contact details include bank email address, official phone number etc
- He does not have a business card
- He is not comfortable giving out the company ID card
- This letter is not on a letter head, but has his signature

Will this be okay to submit?

People say I need to get it notarized. My question - can we get an Indian notary for a Canadian reference letter?

What is the best way to submit? please advice.

Thanks

Notary shall be from Canada lawyer.
Make this letter in letter head pad of Bank.
Put all information about supervisor such as cell phone no, email Id, etc. CIC may call him & he shall answer

Thanks for the reply Dream17canada.

My manager cannot get it on the bank's letter head since he is not authorised to do so, he is just an employee.

I will try to find some canadian lawyer to get it notarized.

Thanks again for your advice

Hi

I am an employee on sabbatical leaves and my hr is issuing a generic letter with no duties and responsibilities. Apart from that can I submit a letter from a colleague who has resigned two months ago? as all my current colleagues are refusing to help.
