Hi all,
This is really a critical issue to all of us. I have a similar situation. I got the letter from my employers after I gave them some reason in which I completely hid my immigration plans. Now I'm on my nerves. I'm afraid that CHC might inquire about it and reveal to my company that they are immigration office or some thing similar. I don't want also to tell the embassy anything about hiding this issue because they might doubt about it. I don't want to raise anything that might make them doubt about my work experience. I have no problem if the embassy inquires about my work experience. I'm just afraid of telling my employers. Can you understand me? Do you have any suggestions? another question: do you have any other suggestion of a reason that can be given to your employers to get the work experience letter other than getting involved in an MBA course since this might not be demanded in my country.

senthilv,

Please find out what proofs of employment are required by CHC where you are applying to. if your reference letter are up-to date, then you could use them.

canonly1,
I think that you should tell your employer immigration story and get your reference or go with something like for a scholarship. There is big chance that your employer will find out about your story sonner or later. I do not think you have many options.

Good luck!

Thank you Ice Cube,
But is it always that immigration office would reveal to my employers who they are. when they inquire, do they tell who they are? why? Especially that the letter starts with "To whom it may concern". My letter also includes some facts that they can track through other than my employers which reveal also my continous employment in this company.

canonly1,
Yes, they do identify who there are before going to any questions.

well, normally they call HR department. or may contact the person signed your letter, you supervisor or manager.....

I guess just tell your company that you are immigrating and you need a reference letter for that. things may get easier if you could go through manager. that would be the best option for you. Also have a copy of your employment contract which lists all of your employment details and few copies of payslips. So nothing can go wrong.

And hope for the best!

Good luck!
