Need some guidance with Reference Letter and Primary NOC code
I am currently in Canada working as a software developer (NOC Code 2174). I also have more than 4 years of foreign (India) experience as a software developer; working for 2 organizations during my tenure. I worked for 2 years and 1 months for my first company. I joined the company as a technical consultant and was later promoted as Team Lead - Web Apps; but I held the later position for just 5 months before switching to new organization.
1. I am in process to get my reference letter and my manager has agreed to provide one. I would be claiming points for NOC code 2175 - Web designers and developers from my first company and need some guidance for it. My question is, should I get two separate reference letters for both positions? or I should get one letter and mention duties and responsibilities together. If yes for having one letter, what should I introduce myself as? "Team Lead"(only 5 months experience) or "Technical Consultant"(1 year and 8 months) performing mentioned duties. Duties were almost same; but for Team Lead position, I had additional duty to lead the team(this duty also falls under NOC Code 2175 - as per Canada NOC finder website "May lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop Web site graphics, content, capacity and interactivity")
2. Secondly while creating EE profile, what will be my primary NOC code? Below is my work experience:
a. May 2021 - Present - NOC Code 2174 (In Canada) - Company 3
b. April 2016 - August 2018 - NOC Code 2174 (In India) - Company 2
c. February 2014 - March 2016 - NOC Code 2175(In India) - Company 1
