RECOMMENDED CLINIC AND DMPs FOR MEDICAL

My family (me, my husband and our 10 yr. old son) will be having our medical this month, can anyone share their experiences and recommend where can we best conduct the exam.

kami ng family ko sa st.lukes extension clinic.Ok po sya at accommodating ang mga staff.wag lang po kayo pumunta ng monday kasi madami tao and yung results malalaman mo na agad.

Manila po location... madami nga po ako nabasa about Nationwide na ok yun nga lang mabagal at merong isang MD na doctor T na nega ang feedback...

sa St. Luke's bakit po sabi maarte daw dun masyado? same procedures din po ba?

sa Cmprehensive Pulomonary po meron akong magandang feedback..we can't decide next week na po kami magpapamedical..

and true, kahit simpleng sipon at ubo 'wag muna pamedical?

ano po bang mga gagawin? urinalysis, blood test, chest xray, physical exam..ano pa po?

BlessedMe halos same pala tayo timeline, Oct. 2011 din nomination namin, nalate lang kami submit uli sa embassy ng application January this year na kaya last March 15 lang yung request for medical... san pala destination nyo family mo sa Canada?

sa st lukes po ko nagpamedical noong january, what do you mean na maarte ang st lukes? firts time ko kasi magpamedical for immigrant eh.
urinalysis, blood test, chest xray, eye test anad physical test ang na experienced ko. ok naman ang staffs. whole day ako doon. bawal kasama sa loob. kung sino lang ang meron MR iyon lang ang makakapasok. bawal din ang foods. pero sa labas meron ka naman makakainan.

yap,what do you mean na maarte sa st.lukes? sa naexperience ko SOP lang naman nila cguro yun and besides alam naman natin siguro ang standard ng st.lukes. tska mga staff dun lagi nakangiti tska walang lunch break kahit madami ang tao tuloy tuloy ang process.at di ko nafeel na magworry.try mo.yes pakundisyon muna kayo bago magpamedical kung may sipon wag muna at kung nagsmoke wag muna para clear ang xray.i hope this helps.

thank you so much jlrp and rojamon27 for the feedbacks! actually I'm not sure ano yung sinabi ng kakilala ko na maarte, nagrepeat kasi ata sila na matagal na-advise... not so sure on this... but now my anxiety lessened, will consider St.Lukes

yup, yung anak ko kasi mei allergic rhinitis, I hope hindi ito maging sagabal pag nag undergo na kami ng medical, we're planning
on the 30th..hope the results will turn out ok by God's grace

Winnipeg,Manitoba po ako..pag malapit na tayo umalis, gawa tayo ng thread about filipinos na for departure na para malay natin may magkakasabay pala sa atin ;D

may nagsabi na rin sa akin na maarte sa St.Luke's..but i think it's just about its standard..kasi yung friend ko dun nagpatest, sa iba wala naman syang spot sa lungs, pero sa StLukes biglang meron (2 days ang pagitan ng 2 exams)..pero tama, whole dayexam dun..

nung kami sa Nationwide, half day lang, tapos agad...same SOP lang..eye check, Xray, urine, blood, PE, height-weight, anu pa ba (hmmmm?) wala na ako maisip...

kung allergic rhinitis lang, ok na yun, declare mo nalang sa DMP mo yung case nya, better na sabihin mo na agad as soon as asked. tell the truth lang lagi..[yung kasabay ko namedical sabi nya wala siyang diabetes (wala naman kasing blood sugar test eh), pero lumabas sa urine nya na may sugar sya, ayun pinababalik kinabukasan)]..wag lang ubo..baka kasi lumitaw sa Xray na nasa bronchi nya yung phlegm, iba pang results and lumabas (baka pabalikin pa kayo because of that)

timbol, maganda din daw, konti lang feedback eh
Comprehensive Pulmo, mabilis din medical exam, half day lang kasi office nila eh
